Curious if anyone has had experiences with these entities.

If you had the experience while under the influence of something like mushrooms please state so. If the experience was during a lucid/dream-vision, please also state.

I had such an encounter while I was practicing conscious (I was fully awake) out of body meditation. When I stepped out of my physical body and walked out of the bed room into the living room, I saw a small happy smirky girl with pointy ears. She was quiet beautiful, and as I looked into her eyes I got teleported into another inner realm. Later I continued to have such experiences both in waking and sleep from then on. In those places I would encounter different aspects of myself that I had not dared to see. Though these entities certainly seemed to have their own will separate than mine that propelled me.

I began to have these experiences after I had spent some time with a native american shaman who lived in the middle of the woods in a pretty distant remote spot. The group that would come to the sweat lodges was small in number, and all except me were native americans. I had many amazing experiences in the lodges as well. Once when I asked the head guy "Chief" about little people he started to tell me about them as if they were regular people. He told me the kinds of jobs they have, what they do, etc. Then he stopped talking, and he said I'm not supposed to tell you more at this time.

I've remained hesitant to explore. I also heard from another friend that Carlos Castaneda's books talk about these entities and he warns that they can try to lure you by their energy, but essentially they are dangerous and can make imbalanced exchanges of energy with you where you will feel drained. He also described methods to do the reverse, i.e. feeding on their energy.
